Prince Harry‘s ex-girlfriend Chelsy Davy is getting candid about her motherhood journey.
The entrepreneur and mother of three, 40, who dated the Duke of Sussex for about six years, shared the candid comments while speaking to Luminary Mothers following the arrival of her third child, Finn.
Davy, who is also mother to son Leo and daughter Chloe, said becoming a parent for the third time felt different because she was more confident in her own judgment.
“It does feel different having done it twice before,” she told Luminary Mothers in an article published on May 13. “Of course, there are still worries and scares, but this time I’ve felt much more comfortable trusting my instincts.”
“This time I feel far more confident, and so I’ve been able to be calmer. You know what’s normal and what’s not, so you can relax and enjoy it with fewer worries front of mind,” she continued. “I also found that with the first two, I couldn’t wait for all the different stages.”
“I was so excited about every upcoming milestone that, in a way, I found myself wishing it away. With Finn, it’s the opposite. I’m cherishing every moment and hoping it doesn’t go too fast, probably something to do with knowing it’s the last time,” she said.
The jewelry designer dated Prince Harry, 41, on and off from about 2004 until 2010, and she was a guest at his 2018 royal wedding to Meghan Markle.

In May 2022, the Daily Mail reported that Chelsy had married Sam Cutmore-Scott, a hotelier and the brother of actor Jack Cutmore-Scott. The couple became parents when Leo was born in 2022, and the family expanded when Chloe was born in 2024.
She announced Finn’s birth on March 15, which was Mothering Sunday, the British equivalent of Mother’s Day.
